Celebrating Easter @ Grandma's

At Grandma's - Gentry got another Easter basket - lucky, lucky boy!
It was filled with Cincinnati Reds gear, snacks, and a Spider Man helmet....

A few minutes later, Grandpa came out with another Easter surprise.......

A SCOOTER!!!!

Dinner was delicious....we were all looking forward to the ham with pineapple sauce and cheesy potatoes...
Gentry loved the ham!

and of course - he always loves his butter and bread...

The Egg Hunt begins...

Grandma Messmer a.k.a. Coo-Coo still loves to put on the Egg Hunt with the  kids of all ages...

HeHe helping Gentry check out what's in those eggs.

Ready for Church....Easter Morning

Gentry loves taking silly pictures.  Half the time, it's the only way we can get him to take good pictures is to promise some silly ones.  Truthfully, I end up loving the silly pics just as much as the others.

This pic melts my heart...

Finally a "family picture" - these are hard to come by.

Happy Happy Happy....Easter

Easter Morning @ the Messmer's was Wonderful!
The Easter Bunny did the annual hiding of the Easter baskets, with a trail of eggs at the bottom of the steps leading to your basket.

The kids first Easter together was precious.  Gentry was a big helper to Gracie and included her in all the events.

She found the chocolate bunny first thing.....too bad Mommy had to eat it this year, alittle too early for Gracie to have chocolate....maybe next year.

Easter @ Nana & Popaw's

The Saturday before Easter, we ventured to Nana & Popaw's house for an Easter Egg hunt and dinner.  Luckily it was a beautiful day outside with temps in the 70's.  Perfect.  Uncle B and Gigi were not able to join us, and they were missed.  But Uncle Ryan and cousin Alex recently relocated to Northern KY, so they were with us.  Also, Scott, Debbie, Josh, and Ben (Nana & Popaw's old neighbors) came to celebrate in the fun as well.

We started with an Egg Hunt in the front yard.

Then we headed into the house to find that the Easter Bunny made an early stop to bring some awesome filled baskets to all the kids.

Gracie even got a basket.....boy the Easter Bunny know what she needed....FORMULA & CEREAL!

One of Gentry's favorite surprises was the game:  Barrel of Monkeys!
