GENTRY CRAWLS - ok, he "army crawls"

It's official! Gentry has been trying to crawl for a couple of weeks now.

But unfortunately, he has been pretty frustrated. But I believe what

they say, "babies do what they want, when they want". I guess Gentry feels that it is time.

Well, at least time to "army crawl". I understand most babies do this first.

Either way, it's exciting to watch him go from place to place throughout the house.

Hopefully as a the weeks progress, he'll work his way to "hands and knees"!

But until then - WE ARE PUMPED!

Watch and see in the above video:

our family...

"our family.....it's something special"
It was such a special thing to see Gentry's face the first time
he went to the beach and saw the ocean.
Even more cool......is the "hands in the sand" picture.
On our honeymoon, Robby and I took a picture of our hands in the sand.
Robby printed it and had it framed for me.
It now hangs on the wall, in the hallway of our home.
Now having a new addition to our family: Gentry,
it only seems right to upgrade the picture.
Gentry did a great job keeping his hand still for the picture.
It will be neat to share the story with him one day.

9 month pics

9 months and counting.............
Gentry is growing so fast.
I can't believe that in just a few months,
our boy will be turning one.
As much as we enjoy each moment,
I wish time would stand still just for awhile.
Advice to any new mothers out there:
Stop, breath in the moments and never wish
for the next milestone or big thing so soon..............
it will happen before you know.
It's been a great summer, our first summer with Gentry.

Life's a beach........

Beach Baby!

First Time Seeing the Ocean....

Gentry experienced another first this week...
He took his first steps on cool, white sand
at the beach in Gulf Shores, AL.
Gentry traveled with the Messmer Family on vacation
for the first time as well.
Gentry's reaction to the sand was ooohs and awhs.
He couldn't take his eyes off the ocean.
As we tryed to take pictures with him,
all he wanted to do, was stare into the clear blue.
