Our visit to the Newport Aquarium

Gentry's 1st Birthday Party

1 year doctor's appt

Our baby isn't a baby anymore.
He's a big boy, who had 4 shots at his 1 year check-up,
and barely cried. We were so proud of our brave boy!
Robby and I just cannot believe how fast time has flown by with Gentry.
We have been and could to be blessed by his presence in our lives.
Gentry is a true gift from God, we are so thankful God entrusted us
with the tremendous task of raising one of his children.
December is such a crazy month for us, between Gentry's birthday & the holidays.
But we would not trade it, because it's a precious gift & reminder of what
this time of year is really all about - the birth/gift of Jesus Christ.
The holidays should be about family, friends, and remembering those
we tend to take for granted.
We are excited to start a new year with Gentry.
Who knows what 2010 will bring?

Play Ground with Family

After church on Sunday...
Gentry got a special treat. He got to play on the play ground
with his cousin, Siena. They had so much fun!

Fast asleep....
Tuckered as can be.
Such a cutie...
For Mommy to see.

Big thank you to Nana & Popaw...

for Gentry's new toy. He loves it! Gentry has a birthday

coming up very soon, and unfortunately Nana & Popaw will not

be able to attend. So Gentry got an early present. He is having a

blast learning to walk and getting very brave in the process.

Robby & I are learning to let go alittle. Gentry is raring to go and

we're bracing ourselves. I cannot believe how time flys. It seems it was only

yesterday, when we were saying I can't wait til'.......Gentry sits up, crawls, walks...

holds his own bottle (which by the way, he's doing!), recognizing people,

waving hello & good-bye.......and here we are! It's all happening.

Thanks for continuing to check out his site, watching him grow.

It's only gonna get better.....stay tune. =)

I had a helper last Saturday......

This past Saturday, Siena - Gentry's cousin came to spend the day with us.
She was a big help with Gentry - from meal time to keeping him hydrated. =)
It was a fun day - a good test for handling 2 at a time.
We'll see.....

GENTRY CRAWLS - ok, he "army crawls"

It's official! Gentry has been trying to crawl for a couple of weeks now.

But unfortunately, he has been pretty frustrated. But I believe what

they say, "babies do what they want, when they want". I guess Gentry feels that it is time.

Well, at least time to "army crawl". I understand most babies do this first.

Either way, it's exciting to watch him go from place to place throughout the house.

Hopefully as a the weeks progress, he'll work his way to "hands and knees"!

But until then - WE ARE PUMPED!

Watch and see in the above video:

our family...

"our family.....it's something special"
It was such a special thing to see Gentry's face the first time
he went to the beach and saw the ocean.
Even more cool......is the "hands in the sand" picture.
On our honeymoon, Robby and I took a picture of our hands in the sand.
Robby printed it and had it framed for me.
It now hangs on the wall, in the hallway of our home.
Now having a new addition to our family: Gentry,
it only seems right to upgrade the picture.
Gentry did a great job keeping his hand still for the picture.
It will be neat to share the story with him one day.

9 month pics

9 months and counting.............
Gentry is growing so fast.
I can't believe that in just a few months,
our boy will be turning one.
As much as we enjoy each moment,
I wish time would stand still just for awhile.
Advice to any new mothers out there:
Stop, breath in the moments and never wish
for the next milestone or big thing so soon..............
it will happen before you know.
It's been a great summer, our first summer with Gentry.
