Star of the Month

It has been an exciting month at Grace Edgett (Gentry's daycare), as Gentry

has been named "Star of the Month." Apparently, Miss Maryann is giving each

child a turn to be in the spotlight. It's a very cute idea. Each child is suppose to bring

in a few pictures of their favorite things.....favorite book, food, toy, etc. These items

are placed on display in the hallway of the daycare outside the classroom. (as in the picture)

Gentry also gets to wear a special hat with a star on it. Every day when

I drop off Gentry, he is so excited to find his hat and put it on.

Airplane, Airplane!

Gentry got to go on his first air plane ride to Florida in July.

We went on family vacation and some of the ladies decided to fly,

while a few other family members drove. I'm not quite sure who got the better

end of the deal. =) Flying to Florida, Gentry slept the entire flight. But coming home,

Gentry did not sleep a wink. Thank goodness, he's a big fan of coloring now.

I think we went through 2 full coloring books on that flight, along with two Mickey

Mouse DVDs. Overall, I can't complain. Genry was a trooper.

I think we have a traveler on our hands! =)

To Grandma's we go....

This summer, Gentry got to spend time at Grandma's house twice per week.

It was a nice break for Gentry from daycare. This also meant, Gentry got to

go to the pool, the park, and have other adventures with Grandma and Julie during

the day. He also got to have lunch with Grandpa a lot, which he enjoyed.

Thank you Grandma for helping out this summer.

A trip to the zoo with Grandma & Grandpa

Sunday was a great day, great weather, and great company.

Gentry took another great trip to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa.

They got to see all kinds of animals, ride the train, and enjoy ice cream.

It was a great day!

Gentry got a surprise from daddy a few weeks ago.....Robby went to the Bengals training camp

with his family and brought back a Bengals football for Gentry. As you can see from the pictures, Gentry loves his new football.
