Gone Swimming...

....well, another milestone...hehe....Gentry finally got his feet wet and even more in an indoor swimming pool. His swimming trunks/bathing suit was more like a swimming pants. Robby and I had so much taking turns getting in the water with Gentry. There were a lot of other kids around, so Gentry was spending his time watching them play. Gentry seemed to like the water. Overall, it was a success. We look forward to a lot of opportunities to play in the water this summer!

Gentry's Baptism

Oh what a big day! Gentry was baptized at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lakeside Park, Kentucky. We were so excited to present Gentry as a true child of God. For we know that he was made in his image. We were blessed to have so many family members, friends, and church family there surrounding us and supporting Gentry on his journey and walk with Christ.

Robby and I would like to send a special thanks to all the family, friends, etc. that put time in helping prep for the event.....friends and family that traveled far distances....Heather - the cake was delicious....Len & Kathy - the food was yummy....the tables were decorated beautifully.....overall "the day was a success!"

Visit from Popaw

Gentry had a nice treat this past weekend...a visit from Popaw. Popaw came all the way from San Antonio, TX. They spent a lot of time playing and talking. It had been a while since Popaw's last visit....January actually. Gentry has grown a lot since then. Gentry was super happy to see Popaw and looks forward to his next visit in May.

HELLO BUMBO

He's sitting up in his bumbo....Gentry is enjoying a new view and practicing sitting up. Bumbos are the greatest thing!

Activity Gym

Gentry is loving his activity gym...he plays under it almost everyday. Seeing him grab ahold of the elephant rattle or twirl the parrot, just makes my heart melt. He's growing up so fast. Watching him change, grow, and explore new things everyday...is a true blessing of being a parent. Thank you God for our little man. He is awesome and you have blessed us beyond belief. What a miracle we have is Gentry!

SMILE!

We love when our boy smiles and he's doing it a lot more lately. At first, we got a smile here & there...few and far between. Now, Gentry is smiling more responsively. Nothing is better than being the one to make him smile. Cooing and gooing is happening a lot more as well....and an occassional squeel! Which is hilarious.

Splish, Splash, Gentry was takin' a bath.......

Oh thank goodness, Gentry is finally enjoying bath time and the more active he is becoming, the more baths he needs. =) I have to admit, I really enjoy the nightly routine of playing....bath time...getting our pjs on.....more play time....bottle & bed. Aaawwwhhh, then we can relax.

P.S. Gentry is starting to sleep longer spans of time during the night, which is allowing Robby & I to get more sleep...which is much appreciated. Thank you Gentry!
