Beach Baby!

First Time Seeing the Ocean....

Gentry experienced another first this week...

He took his first steps on cool, white sand

at the beach in Gulf Shores, AL.

Gentry traveled with the Messmer Family on vacation

for the first time as well.

Gentry's reaction to the sand was ooohs and awhs.

He couldn't take his eyes off the ocean.

As we tryed to take pictures with him,

all he wanted to do, was stare into the clear blue.

.....it's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - come inside, it's fun inside.....it's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.......yes - my son is loving the TV show : Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It's on every morning and Gentry looks forward to it so much. As soon as the introduction of the show starts, Gentry begins moving around, flapping his arms and getting so very excited!
Robby and I were talking the other day about all the TV shows we used to watch on a regular basis, some shows we even DVR'd to watch at a later time. If you were to come to our house and open our DVR file - you will see several, I mean like twenty episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It's crazy how things change once you have a child. We are going to have to clear some space before September, when all our show start up again, like The Office, CSI: Miami, Grey's, etc.
I finally went back to work a few weeks ago ( thank goodness, I finally found something)....but I have to say, one of the things that I miss the most about getting up with Gentry everyday is watching his favorite show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

Play Day with Cousin - Parker

A few weeks ago, Gentry enjoyed a day with his cousin - Parker Ray.

Parker Ray and Gentry are only 6 weeks apart in age.

So, they will be really close as they growup together and experience so many things.

It's so fun to watch them to together, and see how they interact.

Getting big!

Growing....growing....growing....gone....

Gentry is growing up so fast.

In fact, so fast, that we are about to out grow the car seat.

I remember the day we brought him home from the hospital -

the first time we put him in the car seat.

He barely took up 1/4 of the space. We were careful as we strapped him in.

Oh, the memories...

So long car seat - it's only a matter of time.
