Easter at Nana's

Immanuel's Annual Egg Hunt

This year was the second annual kids easter egg hunt at our church, Immanuel United Methodist in Lakeside Park.  Gentry was very excited to complete the craft project in the Wesley Hall and then search for eggs in the Children's Hall downstairs.  There were so many kids that they had to limit how man eggs each child was allow to find and claim.  Overall - a great time and looking forward to next year.

Easter Morning

Easter morning was so much fun this year....Gentry understands the concept of the Easter Bunny (although he won't go near him at the mall for pictures...).  When Gentry wokeup on Easter morning, the Easter Bunny left a trail of Easter eggs to where he left Gentry's basket.

Coloring Eggs

There's a first time for everything.....
Well it's not my first time coloring eggs or Robby's, but it was for Gentry. He did great.

Visiting Papaw & Meme

At the end of March, we drove south to Flemingsburg to visit Papaw Vice.  Just a few days before that, there was a bad tornado that came through the tri-state and surrounding areas.  Driving on the AA highway was crazy - so many homes were torn to pieces....clothes in trees...and signs bent in half.....trees down, etc.
When we finally made it to Meme & Papaw's....Gentry was the entertainment.  He had a great time playing with Papaw's phone.  I sometimes forget that Gentry hasn't really been around house phones.  We haven't had one - we always use our cell phones.  It's amazing the things we take for granted.
