I cannot believe it's here......my baby boy is no longer my baby and is turning the big "4"!
Gentry is currently obsessed with Batman and superheroes in general. So it was a no brainer....that Gentry would want a Batman/Superhero party. We used our church again - the Children's Hall (which I am soooo thankful for). Nana and I arrived early in the day to start converting the children's hall into a batman/superhero paradise. Heather was generous enough to make the cake(s). She is so talented. Grandma helped out with the food as well. Robby and I couldn't do it alone - we are so thankful for all the friends and family that support us in so many ways.
The guest list (kids) included:
Owen Peterson (Gentry's friend from both school and church)
Jude Ours (partner in crime at soccer, church, and angel choir)
Brian and Claire Ayvazian (destined best friends of both Gentry and Grace)
Thomas and James Jehn (two amazing kids always showing Gentry the ropes)
Parker Vice (best cousin & friend)
Haley McGuire (most beautiful cousin, always bringing the sparkle to any event)
Daniel Jackson (the real superman, Gentry's favorite neighbor)
The games:
Avenger Team Race (all the kids joined hands and were tied together with bandanas, then they had to race around the halls working together as a team)
Superhero Strength (kids were to pop balloons and be creative)
Side Kick Mission (two kids had to keep a ping pong ball in a napkin and cross the finish line without dropping the ball)
The favors:
Batman Coloring Sheets with markers at their seat
Hats & Masks
Batman Cup
Batman Arm Band & Ring
Play-doh
Batman Stickers
Smarties & Super Bubble Gum

One cool thing:
We setup a photo scene with a backdrop, cityscape, and took pictures of some of the kids in full action. Robby even held some of them up to look like they were flying through the air.
